This sketchbook collection explores the beauty of patterns inspired by my observation of the landscape. The pattern is about abstracting daily observations and recreating the ever changing environment in sketch form. The observations and recreations include form, materiality, and tactility of the landscape. The pattern, as the abstract of landscape, can further inspire landscape design. There are three sketchbooks (3.5” x 5.5”) in this collection. The sketches were drawn on a daily base from September 5th to December 4th, 2018.
