Please stop by the Rutgers University Art Library throughout the month of July 2015 to view an exhibit of work by Artist Adam Padavano.
Artist statement about the exhibit:
“This grouping of work consists of traditional and found object-based sculpture, all of which relate to the human body or human experience. Within the four glass cases, I am integrating several collections of objects and organic materials, such as bars of soap, toothbrushes, pencils, and cat whiskers with pieces built from clay, wool, fabric, wire, and wood. I am interested in the shift in scale and function from one piece to another, and the new relationships they suggest.”
