Online Reference Materials

Online reference books such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, and handbooks are all searchable by title, author, or subject in the library catalog. Many of theses resources are Rutgers restricted, so you will be asked to log in in order to read these books. In the box to the right, there is a listing of online encyclopedias.

Important New Behavioral Sciences Reference Sources

RUL will hopefully be adding more online psychology dictionaries within the coming year.

Psychology/Behavioral Science E-Encyclopedias

All of these electronic encyclopedias and reference sources are valuable places to begin your research. They provide scholarly background readings on selected topics in psychology and behavioral sciences.
