Education

A guide to research and curriculum resources in the field of education.

Welcome to Rutgers University Libraries Education Research Guide

This library research guide is intended for students and faculty in the Graduate School of Education programs conducting research.  I hope you find the resources and information on library services useful. The Education Librarian and liaison to the Graduate School of Education provides research consultations for individuals or groups, as well as library research sessions for courses by invitation of GSE faculty.

The Librarian's contact contact information is available in the profile box to the right.  Please feel to contact them with any questions you may have about the Libraries, library research, resources, and services.  Also, please feel to ask for any suggestions or recommendations of resources or services that may help the Libraries in supporting and working with you as a student, researcher, or teacher.

The Alexander Library (College Avenue) houses the primary research collection for Education.

If there is a book you want at another campus the Rutgers University Libraries system has an internal campus delivery system so that you can have materials delivered to the most convenient Rutgers library location.  An interlibrary loan system is also available for requesting materials not available within the Rutgers University Libraries.  Further information on finding the availability of books is available under the Finding and Getting Books tab of this guide.

The Libraries have a large collection of print and and electronic journal subscriptions.  The majority of Education journal subscriptions are available electronically,  Further information on searching journals is available under the Finding Journal Articles and Getting Journal Articles tabs.
