Global and Transnational Women's Activism

In Portuguese and English, CEPIA works and advocates on issues of health, sexual and reproductive rights, violence and access to justice, poverty and employment. The site has many online publications on Brazilian women's rights and human rights and links to Brazilian and international women's organizations.

A premier research center on gender in Brazil, Pagu is affiliated with the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, São Paulo. It promotes interdisciplinary research with focus on gender and women's issues in Brazil and Latin America.

Rede Social de Justiça e Defesa dos Direitos Humanos aims to respond combat human rights violations occurring in Brazil by documenting examples of abuse, floating petitions, and partnering with other national and international organizations committed to the protection of human rights.

A feminist NGO established in 1963 in São Paulo, it is committed towards feminist politics that addresses the gender relations and empowerment of women, policies, and reproductive rights.
