International Youth Literature Collection

The International Youth Literature Collection is a representative collection of children’s and young adult books, both translated and in their original language, that celebrate writing, visual style and design from outside of this country.

Biennial of Illustration Bratislava (BIB)

Since the autumn of 1967, every odd year in Bratislava, the BIB,  a world-famous international juried exhibition of originals of illustrations made for children's and juvenile books has been held.

Nami Island International Picture Book Illustration Concours

Nami Concours aims to encourage artists’ creativity and contribute to the advancement of the quality of picture book illustrations. It is organized every 2 years by Nami Island, the official sponsor of IBBY Hans Christian Andersen Awards.

Nami Island International Book Festival

The Nami Island International Children's Book Festival is a biannual event that aims to encourage artists' creativity and contribute to the advancement of the quality in picture book illustrations. Highlights of the 2019 Festival are here

IBBY's Traveling Exhibitions

IBBY provides collections of books, usually with an annotated catalogue, as travelling exhibitions. Exhibitions currently available are the IBBY Honour Books, Outstanding Books for Young People with Disabilities and Silent Books.
