Qualitative Research

This guide includes an array of resources, examples, and information on qualitative research to gain a better understanding of this methodology and how it can be used in your own research.

Qualitative research deals with gathering information and evidence in the form of words/phrases and actions.  These accounts can be acquired through surveys and interviews, as well as direct observations.  This information can be coded for and displayed visually to make the data comparable and readable to others.
