Go to the Rutgers Software portal at https://software.rutgers.edu/You will need to log in with your NetID and password to download software.
In the search box at the top right, type ChemDraw and click Search.
On the next page, you will see one result for Revvity Signals ChemDraw. Click the title Signals ChemDraw.
Click where it says Get Signals ChemDraw, and then click the red box that says Add to My Software. If you already have ChemDraw it will say You currently have 1 product license. Do not request another license, instead, see the instructions in the box below.
A new page will open that says you have requested a ChemDraw license. It may take up to 3 days to receive email instructions to create your online account. Please check your spam folder for an email from noreply-srs@revvitycloud.com. Your login username is NetID@rutgers.edu.
Login to your account. Your username is your NetID@rutgers.edu, and the password is one you will have created when you registered. If you don't remember your password, click the question mark at the bottom of the login box and then click the link for Forgot Password. You will be emailed a link to reset it. Do not use the password associated with your Rutgers NetID.
Use ChemDraw+ to draw structures saved online. No other installation is needed.
To use ChemDraw on your desktop, click on ChemDraw installers. Click where indicated to download, if you haven't already installed it, and follow the instructions. If you have previously installed ChemDraw Desktop, click the ChemDraw Desktop icon, and click Launch.
If you want to use ChemDraw Collections, an organizing tool and ready-made templates for chemical drawings, you will need to download and install it first. To download Collections, click the ChemDraw Collections icon and follow the link to download it. Once installed, click the Installers icon and then click Connect to activate it.
