The Census Bureau has just released a new mapping tool that could be useful for firms that offer a select range of products or services: Census Business Builder.
TRF PolicyMap - Good Data, Smart Decisions

PolicyMap displays many popular categories of demographic information as maps, including population, income, home ownership, and education. The underlying data is derived from both government and commercial sources.

To see historical Census data displayed as maps, consult Social Explorer. This site provides access to maps based on selected data sets for censuses from 1790-2010.

An alternative to the Census Bureau's American FactFinder is CensusScope, which is a portal to American Community Survey, Census 2010 and Census 2000 data. This site offers colorful charts, graphs and maps for many frequently requested data sets.
