Researcher Proxies

A Researcher Proxy is someone you appoint to deposit works and manage your SOAR researcher profile on your behalf. Your proxy may be a colleague, student, or administrative assistant. They simply must have a valid Rutgers NetID and email address.

Add a Proxy

To add a proxy:

  1. Login to SOAR
  2. Click Edit Profile > Researcher Proxies
  3. Click Add Proxy
  4. Enter the official Rutgers email address (@rutgers.edu) of your designated proxy

Remove a Proxy

To remove a proxy:

  1. Login to SOAR
  2. Click Edit Profile > Researcher Proxies
  3. Click the X next to the proxy's name
