English 201 Research in the Disciplines

English 302/303 Scientific & Technical Writing/Writing for Business & the Professions

Students in Transition Seminar Guide

Students in Transition Resources

Students in Transition Seminar (STS):

  • Power Point (there are 2 PPT, "Main" & "Repeat")
  • Guide for Student/Librarian Instructors.
  • Sample email to STS professors.

Materials for International Undergraduates

These materials are suitable for a library session introducing international students to the library. They are designed for freshman or other new students. They do not focus on searching for articles using databases. The materials include Chinese (Mandarin) where appropriate, but these are included as pictures and can easily be removed for a different group. The Powerpoint is the presentation and there is a slide in the middle which directs you to the game. The Word Bank is to be given to students for the game.

iClickers

iClickers are available for use in instruction. One set of iClickers (base and 30 clickers) is located at Carr Library. One set is currently on loan in Newark.
