This Guide is intended for students in MLIS program.  It is an introduction to help you to effectively discover, retrieve and organize research data from the University Library and beyond.  The Guide is a work in progress that will be updated periodically.  Please send your comments and suggestions so that, together, we can build a research guide that is truly timely and useful for your study and research.

Getting Started

  • If you are looking for journal articles and already familiar with the searching techniques, use the LIS Databases tab
  • If you want to browse key online journals in the field, start with the Online Journals tab.
  • If you want to browse electronic books, use the Find Books tab.
  • If you are new to the University Library System start from RUL tab or from Tutorials tab.
