NJ & National Registers of Historic Places
The New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places listings include properties and historic districts in New Jersey for which a formal action was taken by the State Historic Preservation Officer or designee. The listings are updated quarterly to reflect ongoing additions and corrections.
New Jersey Historic Trust
The Mission of the Trust is to advance historic preservation in New Jersey for the benefit of future generations through education, stewardship and financial investment programs that save our heritage and strengthen our communities.
LUCY
An online viewer for New Jersey’s cultural resources inventory, provided by the New Jersey Historic Preservation Office. It allows users to identify locations of National Historic Landmarks, NJ and/or National Registers of Historic Places, places with formal determinations of eligibility for inclusion in the Registers, designated local landmarks and districts by municipalities, or places documented and evaluated through cultural resources survey efforts statewide

Town Historic Preservation Commissions

Many of New Jersey's towns have created Historic Preservation Commissions tasked with overseeing surveys of local historic sites and advice planning boards in matters concerning historic locations.
