The Main Library's collection of video recordings (both videocassette and DVDs) includes old feature films which have stood the test of time as well as current films that have received critical acclaim or attained commercial success. This collection also includes operas, "how-to-do-it" films, and documentaries on a wide variety of subjects
Videos may be borrowed for seven days, with a limit of three DVDs or five videocassettes at a time. Search the Library's online catalog for titles of films and video recordings.
The Newark Public Library's high-speed Internet network gives you the freedom to use your Wi-Fi enabled laptop or wireless device almost anywhere in the Main Library building. For setup information, please consult this guide to the free wireless access service.
The Victoria Technology Center on the third floor provides electrical outlets for your computer. At other locations in the building, please use your laptop's battery power.
