NACOSH was established under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 to advise the secretaries of labor and health and human services on occupational safety and health programs and policies. Members of the 12-person advisory committee are chosen on the basis of their knowledge and experience in occupational safety and health.

The National COSH is a federation of local and statewide "COSH" groups--Committees/Coalitions on Occupational Safety and Health.

The Labor Occupational Health Program (LOHP) is a public service program of the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health at U.C. Berkeley's School of Public Health. Our mission is to help protect the health and safety of workers worldwide.

Founded in 1978, LOSH is a nationally recognized center promoting safe workplaces through teaching and education, research, and policy advocacy.

Worksafe is a California-based organization dedicated to eliminating all types of workplace hazards. We advocate for protective worker health and safety laws and effective remedies for injured workers. We watchdog government agencies to ensure they enforce these laws. We engage in campaigns in coalition with unions, workers, community, environmental and legal organizations, and scientists to eliminate hazards and toxic chemicals from the workplace.

OSH Links (formerly known as the Internet Directory) is an extensive resource that can be used to find websites covering occupational health and safety subjects.

ConnectiCOSH is a non-profit, statewide organization which helps unions, individuals and communities win healthier and safer working and living conditions. Members include local unions, labor councils, community groups, health and safety activists, and health professionals. Financial support comes from members' dues, union contributions, grants and fundraising events.

MACOSH is a discretionary committee established on February 8, 1995 and is authorized by Section 7(b) of the OSH Act to advise, consult with, and make recommendations to the Secretary of Labor through the Assistant Secretary for Occupational Safety and Health (Assistant Secretary) on matters relating to the maritime industry.

MassCOSH brings together workers and allies to organize and advocate for safe, secure jobs and healthy communities throughout eastern Massachusetts. Through training, technical assistance and building community/labor alliances, we mobilize our members and develops leaders in the movement to end unsafe work conditions.

NHCOSH is your resource center for useful information on a wide range of topics including workers safety, workers rights, ergonomics, workers compensation, environmental health, workers injuries, workplace hazards and many others. We also have information on health and safety committees and contract language.

The New Jersey Work Environment Council (WEC) is a membership alliance of labor, environmental, and community organizations working for safe, secure jobs and a healthy, sustainable environment.

The New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health (NYCOSH) has for 31 years been a leading independent voice for worker safety and health. Committed to ensuring that all workplaces are safe and healthy, NYCOSH provides training and resources to workers while advocating for strong laws and regulations.

WNYCOSH was founded in 1979 to provide Health and Safety technical assistance and training to labor and labor-management partnerships. WNYCOSH specializes in OSHA Standard training, Biological, Chemical, Physical and Ergonomic Safety Hazard training, Safe Patient/Resident Handling and Movement Program Implementation and Consultation, and Job and Process Hazard analysis.

The Philadelphia Area Project on Occupational Safety and Health (PhilaPOSH) is made up of unions, health and legal professionals working together since 1975 for a safe and protected workplace as well as for the rights of injured workers.

In 1978 concerned unions, workers, and legal and health professionals founded WisCOSH, Inc.. We've grown steadily and now represent workers throughout the state. Our membership includes union locals, individual union members, physicians, lawyers, health and safety workers, and other interested professionals and workers.
