Finding Media in the Library Catalog

The most effective way to search for media in the Library Catalog is to use the subject headings assigned to each topic, company, or person. Below is a list of some subject headings that are related to disabilities, work society. Try the following subject terms by going to the Library Catalog Search screen and clicking "Advanced Search" to use subject headings like these for a more specific search:

  • discrimination in employment
  • people with disabilities and employment
  • people with disabilities and civil rights

To limit your search to media, select Visual Materials in the Format subfield of the Advanced Search.
