Spanish and Latin American Literature and Film: Find Criticism in the Library Catalog

Use this guide for researching the fiction, poetry, drama and cinema of Spain, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Finding Criticism in the Library Catalog

Helpful Hint: Use the subject phrase "criticism and interpretation" as part of your search in the Library Catalog.

For example, a subject search for:

Mercado, Tununa -- Criticism and interpretation

will only display books about the works of Tununa Mercado, not the works she wrote.

If the author's name is not a common one you will also want to do a Words Anywhere search. This will return results where the author is mentioned in the table of contents, but may not be the subject of the whole book.
