Search Filters

There are two ways to add filters:

1. Before search: select filters in the red block before clicking "Search" button;

2. After search: add filters in the purple block to adjust your search result after running the search.

Note:

  1. Use language filter: currently, there is no language filter under "Results Filters", which means that you can not choose a language once the search has been done. If you need to select a language for the search result, you will have to add the following syntax: AND [english]/lim by clicking "Edit" on the search result page. You can use a language filter before running the search in Advanced search form or under the search box on result page.
  2. Choose human studies: select "human" from "Study types" under "Result Filters".

Filter - Sources

You can select "Sources" Filter before running the search or after the search.

1. Add before search

Four options: Embase, MEDLINE, preprints  or PubMed-not-MEDLINE.

2. Add after search

Click "Sources" in the Results Filters section (in the purple block), select the area that you want to read, such as records specific to Embase, excluding from MEDLINE, then click Apply.
