Pick Up and Delivery
Books that are part of our print collection can be placed on hold by logging in to QuickSearch with your netID and password. If you live close to a Rutgers campus or can travel to one, you can request to have books sent to that library, where you will be able to pick them up at the circulation desk. If you are not able to come to campus, we also offer "personal delivery," which means we will mail the book to your home.

Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary loan services provide the Rutgers community with access to resources beyond those owned by the university. The Rutgers University Libraries maintain memberships in consortia and have special cooperative arrangements with libraries and other organizations to obtain materials from other universities.
EZBorrow is the shared catalog of PALCI, a large network of regional academic and large public libraries. Turnaround time is fast (usually 3-5 business days) and the loan period is 12 weeks. Books requested through this service are typically available quickly due to geographic location. You may be prompted to sign in at point of request if you have not signed in prior to view all your request options.
UBorrow represents the collections of the Big Ten Academic Alliance libraries. Books usually arrive within 7 days, with a 16 week loan period. Please note items requested through this service typically take around 7 days due to the geographic locations of Big Ten Academic Alliance libraries.
ILLiad is a worldwide search for the hardest-to-locate items. If the item you desire is not available in any of the above services, try searching and requesting via ILLiad. Please note that turnaround time varies depending on geographic location.
