Physician Assistant Program Resources

UpToDate is a point-of-care information resource which contains over 10,000 topics representing 22 specialties. In addition to the e-textbook content, UpToDate contains information on drugs/drug interactions, a library of images and videos, standard medical calculators and decision tools, “practice changing” current information, and training resources. There are multiple links to full-text content and the resource is currently searchable in nine languages.

Contains point-of-care information intended to be used at a patient’s bedside. It includes clinical decision rules, practice guidelines, calculators, and links to full-text articles indexed by the National Library of Medicine’s (NLM) PubMed. It may be used as a Web-based version on any desktop/laptop computer or downloaded for use on a Smartphone.

VisualDX is a differential diagnosis decision support tool, designed to be used at the point-of-care. It contains peer-reviewed information.
