E-ZBorrow is the Pennsylvania Academic Library Consortium, Inc. (PALCI) program for user-initiated and expedited book delivery. Rutgers students, faculty, and staff can search the combined collections of over 60 academic libraries in Pennsylvania and nearby states and place requests for fast delivery of books that are not owned or are unavailable at Rutgers. Participating libraries include the University of Pennsylvania, Carnegie Mellon, Temple University, Penn State, and the University of Pittsburgh.
UBorrow is a service of the Big Ten Academic Alliance, which is comprised of the universities of the Big Ten Conference plus the University of Chicago. Rutgers students, faculty, and staff can search the combined collections of 14 research libraries and place UBorrow requests for fast delivery of books that are not owned or are unavailable at Rutgers. The following libraries participate in UBorrow: University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Indiana University, University of Iowa, University of Chicago, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, University of Minnesota, University of Nebraska, Northwestern University, Ohio State University, Penn State University, Purdue University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the Center for Research Libraries.
PubMed provides full-text of many medical and scientific biomedical books. Some are older editions, others up to date.
AccessMedicine is an online collection of key medical reference texts that provide authoritative and current information.
