Transfer to Another User

From the ticket page:

  • Click Assign/Transfer
  • Select Transfer to User
  • Select a user from the list
    Note: You will only see users assigned to the same queue as the ticket. To transfer to a user in another queue, you must first select the appropriate queue.
  • Optional: Add an internal note
  • Click Submit as New

The user assigned to the ticket will receive an email notification with the patron's question. They may login to LibAnswers to respond to the question or answer it directly through email.

Transfer to Another Queue

From the ticket page:

  • Click Assign/Transfer
  • Select Transfer to Queue
  • Select a queue from the list
  • Optional: Assign to a specific user within that queue
    Note: The user assigned to the ticket will receive an email notification.
  • Optional: Add an internal note
  • Click Submit as New
