Honors Seminar II (705:241:01:H1)

designed to support School of Nursing honors students as they develop library research skills

Welcome!

This research guide has been designed to help you with your writing assignments for Honors II, in particular, and to support your development of information literacy and library research skills.  It has been organized by the steps you will take in using the University Libraries' resources and services: finding books in the online catalog and appropriate journal article citations in CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature), locating the articles in fulltext/pdf, reading them critically, organizing the citations in RefWorks or another citation manager, and, finally citing your sources in APA style.

Please let us know if you have any questions about your library research.  Our contact information is listed in the boxes to the right.  You can also reach any librarian with your questions by using the Ask A Librarian sidebar on the pages of the University Libraries website.

Use tutorials for additional help

Are you feeling a bit concerned about searching journal indexes or any other aspects of library research?  The University Libraries has a series of tutorials on the research guide, Research in the Disciplines, which includes sections on journal database searching and finding fulltext articles among other topics.  Please go to http://libguides.rutgers.edu/English201
