Camden Local History Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon: Edit-a-Thon Training Materials

Rutgers-Camden Paul Robeson Library will host a Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon for the Rutgers and Camden communities.

All training and support is provided to you during the edit-a-thon, but the resources on this page are helpful in preparing for the edit-a-thon and continuing to edit afterwards. You may also want to refer to these resources during the event. 

Tutorials

The following static tutorials will help you use Wikipedia's Visual Editor, a secondary editing interface which is useful for new editors. You can also learn how to edit Wikipedia using Wiki Markup. The tutorials are in a logical order for you to learn how to edit on Wikipedia.

The HelpDesk is a community within Wikipedia who can answer your questions.
