ArtStor is a digital image library of over 2 million images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences. You need to register and sign in to download/save images. Examples of search terms:

Asia-Studies Full-Text Online is a portal that provides access to reports, working paper series, and journals from Asia's most prestigious research institutions. Some articles include images. Example:

Asian Film Online is a streaming video collection of more than 600 narrative feature films, documentaries, and shorts, offering a view of contemporary Asian culture and society as seen through the lens of the independent Asian filmmaker. Example of documentaries on the independence of Bangladesh:

Bibliography of Asian Studies is the major multidisciplinary index for ths study of East, Southeast, and South Asia. It contains citations to Western language works published worldwide on all subjects. Example search: "Korean war" and "images." 

Cambridge Histories Online presents essays on different histories around the world, including Asia.

CRL: Center for Research Libraries is an international membership consortium of university, college, and independent research libraries. Rutgers University Libraries is a CRL member.
