Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) is a community-curated online directory that indexes and provides access to high quality, Open Access, peer-reviewed journals. All data is freely available. 

List of Open Access Journals for Dentistry with DOAJ.

As of 2024, DOAJ indexes 172 journals under the subject "dentistry." Only 11 of them were awarded DOAJ Seal, given to journals that demonstrate best practices in open access publishing. 149 of 172 journals are published in English, and 102 of them are free (do not require APCs). However, only 3 with DOAJ Seal do not require Article Processing Charges (APCs). APCs are listed next to each journal title. The journals can also be searched by the type of peer-reviews, by publisher, and types of Creative Commons licenses
