Two Workshops on the 2024 NIH Public Access Policy:

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) 2024 Public Access Policy requires researchers to deposit their Author Accepted Manuscripts (AAM) arising from NIH-funded research in PubMed Central immediately upon acceptance for publication on or after July 2025and to make them publicly available on the official date of publication. The 2024 NIH Public Access Policy eliminates the embargo that was in the 2008 policy, requiring that all NIH-funded research articles be immediately available to the public via PubMed Central on the official date of publication.
