Arbitration Cases

Locating Labor Arbitration Cases

Most arbitration cases (also called awards) are not published.  You can find random cases on the Internet, but the best source are specialized reporting services, similar to legal reporting services.  Arbitration award publishers include BNA, CCH, and LRP.

The Carey Library of the School of Management and Labor Relations offers access to the BNA Labor Arbitration Reports.  The Library has print case books up to December 2010 and electronic access through the BNA Labor and Employment Library database.  Researchers may access the database in the Library on request.  SMLR faculty and graduate students may also access it off-site; see the Librarian for more information.
