Mohegan Colony Association CollectionThe Mohegan Colony Association Collection is located at Rutgers Special Collections and University Archives. It contains materials ranging from 1923 to 2005. The Mohegan Colony was an anarchist community founded by Harry Kelly in the Mohegan Lake area of Westchester County, New York. In 1952, the community was renamed the Mohegan Colony Association and began to operate as a homeowners’ association. The collection includes the official records of the Mohegan Colony, as well as records from the Mohegan Colony Association. These materials include membership and board correspondence, publications from the Mohegan Modern School, constitutional minutes, maps, and financial records.
