New Reproductive Technologies
Reproductive technologies are tools used to assist or deter human reproduction. Some make pregnancy and fertility easier and are used when aspiring parents are unable to produce a child on their own. Some are used as contraception.
This term can encompass freezing sperm, In Vitro Fertilization, condoms, hormone treatment, and more. Check out one segment of reproductive technology, assisted reproductive technology, at the CDC website, and check out U.S. laws surrounding assisted reproductive technology at the American Bar website.
