Library Support for ENG102

This guide provides access to library resources used in ENG102 while in-person classroom instruction is suspended.

COVID-19 Information

The Robeson Library is currently open for access to the student computer lab and study spaces on the first and second floors. The circulation and reference desks remain closed. Physical collections are accessible via Click and Collect, our version of curbside pickup.

Online collections and services remain available 24/7.

Please visit the library's COVID-19 site for the most up-to-date information about access to library resources and services.

Library Tutorials

In addition to the recorded library session for ENG102, you are welcome to make use of a suite of tutorials available through the library. There are two kinds of tutorials:

On-demand tutorials, which can be embedded into webpages or research guides such as this one. The on-demand library tutorials, including videos and quizzes, can be found on the Rutgers University Libraries Tutorials page.

LMS-integrated tutorials, which can only be used inside an LMS such as Sakai or Canvas. A full list of available LMS-integrated tutorials can be found below.

To view and use the  tutorials in Canvas, please search Canvas Commons for “Library Tutorials.” The Office of Instructional Design and Technology  (idt@camden.rutgers.edu) can also assist you in adding library tutorials to your course site.

Recorded ENG102 Session

While in-person instruction is suspended, Robeson Library is providing a recorded version of our standard library session for ENG102. This 17-minute video covers how to get help from the library [some content may not reflect current library access policies], how to create a search strategy, and searching for articles in both QuickSearch and Academic Search Premier.

This recorded library session is fully captioned.

Contact Zara (zara.wilkinson@rutgers.edu) for the video file.
