What is a reliable source of information? We usually rely on these elements below:
Authority: authors of the work who are academics, researchers, and experts or practitioners in the field
Publisher: university press, professional associations, respected scholarly publisher
Audience: academics, university students, professionals
Content: original research, experimentation
References: formal citations and references
Access: some material available open access, but often only available via subscription.

Use QuickSearch to find materials available at Rutgers University Libraries. They include journals, books, newspaper articles, dissertations, films, conference papers, etc. in all subject areas.
Sample keywords searches in Quicksearch:
Nigeria AND "women's education"
“South Africa” AND "educati* system"
"Costa Rica" AND "women's education"
You need to use quotation marks “” to keep the phrases in your search intact. There is no need to use the quotations if your keyword has only one word. You also need to use AND in caps to link the concepts together.
Once your search generated a list of results, you can select the limiters on the left side (ex. "peer-reviewed articles”) and limit the results accordingly.
