About Jenica
Jenica Ibarra (she/they), Reference & Instruction Librarian, come to Rutgers with over a decade of experience as an academic librarian, most recently serving as the Natural Sciences liaison at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. Jenica has a M.A. degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida, along with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in History also from USF. She is a first-generation college student and is passionate about supporting fellow first-gen students. She lives in Asheville, NC with her partner, dog, and cat. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, reading, quiet nights at home, and spending time with loved ones.

Welcome! This guide is for the Spring 2024 Chemistry Writing course taught by Dr. Jenny Lockard. My name is Jenica Ibarra, and I will be teaching four library research sessions as part of your seminar. Please contact me with any questions or for 1-1 research assistance.
