Finding Tests and Measures  

The Test Reviews & Description tab lists comprehensive resources that provide information about measures such as reliability and validity. The Topic Specific sub-tab describes resources that are subject focused.

The Resources With Tests tab will help you find sources and compilations that include actual copies of tests and measures.

The Using Journal Databases tab provides information on how to search for test information and measures in PsycInfo, CINAHL, and more. Tips on finding appended tests in these resources is also included.

The Internet Resources tab provides links to measures available on the Web from authorative sites.

Tests and measures are often categorized as published or unpublished. Published tests are commercially available for purchase from a publisher and sometimes may only be bought by a qualified or professionally credentialled user.

Unpublished or noncommercial tests are usually referred to in journal articles, dissertations, reports, etc.and are often made available for use by contacting the author.
