Access Information

The volumes in series 1 and 2 have been compiled into a collection in the Hathi Trust, allowing you to search multiple volumes at a time. It is public, though you may need to use the "log in" button to access materials not in the public domain. If you are already logged in to Rutgers you just need to click on Rutgers; If not, you will also need to put in your net id and password.Click on this link to access the collection.

If the search retrieves results you will be shown a list of volumes that contain your search terms. Click on "full view" to access that volume. You will need to re-enter your search in the search box on the left hand menu bar.

The volumes in series 3 are availalble in print in multiple libraries throughout the Rutgers University Libraries system.

The various volumes contain multiple types of information -- wills, excerpts from newspaper articles, court records, legal materials, and many others.

Collectively the series is sometimes simply known as "New Jersey Archives."
