Bloustein School Graduate Student Guide

This is a guide to library and research resources for graduate students in planning and public policy.

A Note About Citations

Citing is a skill you must practice
It’s like growing stronger at the gym! You have to develop the “muscles” needed to quickly and accurately cite.
It might be slow going to get your citations accurate at first, but it’s an important skill to develop for graduate level writing
You will make mistakes!
Reminder: the important part is that you attribute others’ ideas! Mistakes help you learn the format, but internalizing the ethical practice of citing is the most important thing about citing. :)
