Optical Media Drives
RU affiliates with an active library account can borrow an external USB-connected DVD player.
These devices enable you to read and write to a CD or DVD using a computer without a physical CD or DVD drive.
Attempting to play a movie without the appropriate software on your computer will prevent the drive from showing the media.
