Rutgers University Libraries: New Employee Handbook

The Library Business Office is responsible for managing the fiscal affairs of the Rutgers University Libraries and providing related guidance to our faculty and staff. This includes establishment and oversight of the RUL budget, payroll, purchasing, general accounting activities and related authorizations, expense reimbursements, and internal controls. Rutgers Integrated Administrative System (RIAS) is an easy-to-use, unified web-based system for purchasing, financial management, and payroll and human resources administration.  Employees can access their pay statements and other financial information through this system.
