Eng 315 Grant Writing: Catalogs to Books

Using the Catalogs

Why check both the Library Catalog and WorldCat?

  •  Some materials, e.g. videos, at Rutgers are only uploaded into WorldCat once a year.
  • Some materials are never uploaded, e.g. electronic books since our contract with the vendor won’t allow access outside of Rutgers.

  •  No system is perfect and some items get missed in large uploads from one organization to another.
