This guide is designed to help you find resources to complete your papers for this class, Spring 2018

Getting to the Article

Some databases provide the full text of an article, while others provide only citations or abstracts. If you don't see the full text of an article, click Get it @ R to:

Find it online If Rutgers has electronic access to the article, you will be taken directly to the full text.

Request it! If the article is not available at Rutgers, you may request an electronic copy through interlibrary loan.

If no text is immediately available, the most direct path is to select the Request it link!

Finding Specific Articles or Journals

To find a specific article ("known" citation) or journal follow these steps:

  • In the Library Catalog type the journal title and select "Journal Title" from the pull-down menu.
  • Select your title from the journal browse list to see the full record for the journal.
  • Print holdings will be displayed, as well as online access if available.

You can also consult our Electronic Journals List, an alphabetical list of journals to which we have e-access.  But please remember the list does not have any print holdings information-the most complete holdings information is via the Library Catalog.
