The Bloomberg Professional Terminal at the Carr Library is the only one that is available to the public who use the Carr Library in-person. Thanks to the generous gift from Bloomberg, L.P, the Bloomberg Terminal is housed in the Career Collections Room at the Carr Library. It is solely maintained and supported by Bloomberg, L.P.
This terminal does not allow data to be downloaded on to the computer or a portable device. If you need to download data, please use the ones located at Rutgers Business School, Dept of Mathematics and Dept of Statistics, provided you are currently enrolled in their programs.
To use the Bloomberg Terminal at the Carr Library, please use the login ID and password posted underneath the monitor. After you login, you will need to login with your personal ID. The box below explains how to create an individual login ID. Be prepared to have a phone ready in order to receive a text message.
If you are using Bloomberg Professional for the first time, you will need to create a personal log in to access Bloomberg Professional after you login to the terminal using the ID and password posted on the sign.
Then follow these steps to create your own personal log in:
Use this personal username and password to access any of the Bloomberg Professionals terminals in the future.
Please note that you will have to log in at least once every 30 days for the username and password to remain valid. Otherwise you will have to create a new one.
