B. Indexes:

Historical Abstracts. Major index/bibliography for finding English-language articles and books on post-1450 world history.

Philosopher's Index & ATLA Religion Database. For finding scholarly works in the field of philosophy and religion. 

C. Project Muse (current issues) and JSTOR (journal archives, with 3-5 year moving wall). Two full text article databases. Includes many important Asian studies journals.
