EPI is a well-known progressive think tank which publishes research and analysis on employment and public policy issues. Many of their publications and articles, plus data and graphs on employment and wage demographics, are available on their web site.

IWPR conducts research related to women's economic and social needs and status; findings are disseminated often for free through this site.

The Joint Center is a research and public policy organization that focuses on people of color in the U.S., currently interested in three key areas: political participation; economic advancement; and health policy.

"The National Urban League is a historic civil rights organization dedicated to economic empowerment in order to elevate the standard of living in historically underserved urban communities." Their focus is on programs, public policy initiatives, and research.

The Pew Hispanic Center is a nonpartisan research organization that seeks to improve understanding of the U.S. Hispanic population and to chronicle Latinos' growing impact on the nation.

The Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan "fact tank" that provides information on the issues, attitudes and trends shaping America and the world. Its work is carried out by eight projects, which include Pew Hispanic Center (http://pewhispanic.org/) and the Social & Demographic Trends project (http://pewsocialtrends.org/).
