HRM (Human Resource Management) Research: A Quick Guide: Find Books

HRM research can be challenging. It is an interdisciplinary field, demanding knowledge of sources in business, psychology, law, and even medicine at times. This Quick Guide will get you started.

Finding HRM Books in the catalog

The most effective way to search for books in the catalog is to use the subject headings assigned to each topic, company, or person. Below is a list of subject headings that are related to human resource management.

  • Wage surveys

Interlibrary Loan and Delivery

In many cases, library materials unavailable from the Rutgers University Library system can be ordered through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).  Use the RUL web site or request assistance from the staff member at the reference desk. There are a variety of ILL/Delivery options, including campus delivery of books held in other RUL libraries and electronic delivery of journal articles held by RUL libraries:

Search Tips

Select Rutgers Libraries to find books, articles, media, and other resources available from the Rutgers Libraries. Use Advanced Search to limit your search by resource type, language, or date.

Select Course Reserves to search for course materials placed on reserve by your instructor. Use Advanced Search to search for reserves by instructor name, course name, or course number.
