E-ZBorrow is the fastest way to request books. Delivery usually takes 3-5 business days. You can use this service if you're eligible for ILL services through Rutgers.
WorldCat is a composite catalog of library collections, primarily in North America but increasingly also in Europe, that enables users to search for books, journals, archival materials, dissertations, government publications, maps, music, musical scores, videos, and other resources.
You can use our ILL services to request books, articles, book chapters, microforms, conference proceedings, or other materials that aren't available at Rutgers, or to request a digital scan of an article or book chapter from one of our non-circulating collections. Physical materials can be picked up from any Rutgers library.
The HathiTrust Digital Library includes millions of books, government publications, dissertations, journals, and other published and unpublished materials digitized from collections in libraries around the world. As you search HathiTrust, there are three different types of books you will find: Temporary Access, Full View, and Limited (search-only).
Search JerseyCat to find items available at New Jersey public and academic libraries. Items unavailable from Rutgers Libraries may be requested through interlibrary loan.
