Students will develop a professional conference presentation proposal for the 15th National Conference on Higher Education in Prison (NCHEP 15), to be held in Cleveland, Ohio in April 2026. Using the official Call for Proposals as a guide, students will identify a topic they believe is essential to highlight or discuss in the current landscape of higher education in prison.

Literature Integration:

Each proposal must incorporate at least one unique scholarly reference from a peer-reviewed journal article published within the last 10 years, accessed via EBSCOhost and one piece of literature already reviewed from our class. The new reference should support the proposal’s significance or theoretical foundation.
