QuickSearch has a citation generator built-in so that you can copy and paste citations for the resources you find. Follow the steps listed:
1. While in the resource's record in QuickSearch, select the quotation mark icon that says Citation.
2. Select the appropriate citation style (MLA). Confirm the citation looks correct. Highlight it, copy, and then paste it in your document.
To cite an academic article, make sure you have:
Format the citation like this:
Author Last Name, Author First Name. "Title of Article." Title of Journal, Vol. #, no. #, Year, pp. ##, URL or DOI.
To cite a book or ebook, make sure you have:

Format the citation of a physical book like this:
Author's Last Name, Author's First Name. Title of Book. City of publication, Publisher, Publication Date.
Format the citation of an ebook like this:
Author's Last Name, Author's First Name. Title of Book, ebook, City of publication, Publisher, Publication Date.
Webpage (include as much information as you can find):
Author Last Name, Author First Name. "Title of Webpage." Name of Website, URL.
Online government document, such as a report or briefing:
Title of Document: Subtitle if Given. Edition if given and is not first edition, Name of Government Department, Agency or Committee, Publication Date, URL. Accessed Access Date.
Statistics from a website:
Author Last Name, First Name. "Title of Document: Subtitle if Any." Title of Website, Name of Organization Affiliated with the Website, Date of copyright or date last modified/updated, URL. Accessed Date.
