Welcome to Introduction to Research for English 102. This class will prepare you to complete research papers for Instructor Paige Morris' Spring 2019 class, as outlined in the assignment handout.
Make note of this Research Guide. The information contained within will help you as you make your way through the Academic Research process.
The mission of bibliographic instruction is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to do scholarly research. As students of Paige Morris' Spring 2019 English 102 Class, your mission is to take what you learn today and put it into practice in completing your assignments. Even then, the mission is far from over. As undergraduates, you will find that these skills will frequently be put to use since what you learn here can be applied to many other classes. Once you have the basics down, it will be up to you to continue to practice these skills.
