Academic Mentoring at SEBS: HP @RUL

This guide serves as the central hub for the library instruction component for the first year Academic Mentoring course at SEBS.

A Trick to Find Popular Books at RUL: Advanced Search

TIP: Frustrated by the many results? Use the ADVANCED SEARCH function in QuickSearch and change the pull down menu to TITLE and AUTHOR. Add "Harry Potter" and "Rowling" in the respective boxes. Then, in the left column, under RESOURCE TYPES, check the BOOKS box. Once you found a book, you may want to scroll down to the bottom and browse other titles.

Harry Potter Books in Print

Rutgers Libraries do not have any Harry Potter books available electronically. In addition to your local public library, the Internet Archive has both audio books (American version read by Jim Dale, British by Stephen Fry) and ebooks to borrow for 14 days with a free account.

Caution: although many web sites offer free downloads of Harry Potter (e.g., legitimately, with Audible trial), please be careful with these sources. Everyone loves Harry Potter, including the hackers!
