Welcome to the library resources guide for the Physician Assistant M.S. program at Rutgers University. Here you will find resources specifically selected for your program. We have recommended databases, journals, e-books, and websites to make this the one-stop shop for your research needs. It doesn't stop there we also have a selection of services we provide as well. If you can not find what you are looking for on this guide, send us an email and we will be happy to assist you.
Research Consultation
During a research consultation a librarian will sit down with you and discuss your research and prepare a detailed and organized research plan. If you are having trouble creating a topic, finding information, writing an article or review there will be a librarian to help. This service is freely available. To schedule a consultation please contact a librarian.
Study Space
Depending on your location you can use the space available at either the Library of Science and Medicine on the Piscataway campus, or at the Robert Wood Johnson Library inside the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.
Computer Lab
There is an open computer lab in the Robert Wood Johnson library where students can freely use. The computer lab can also be used for scheduling exams.
Research Instruction
The world of online research can be overwhelming. Luckily the librarians on staff are trained to teach classes on how to search strategically. These classes can be catered to the needs and level of the students. They may be long, short, introductory, or in-depth. These classes are available both online and in-person.
